VNIIR recent development – Family SHSN1250 (ØÑÍ) DC auxiliary supply system

At present substations up to 750kV utilize DC auxiliary supply systems of different suppliers.These systems differentiate substantially not only by complete sets but by configuration and electric schematics. Older systems use circuit breakers made by “Contactor” (Ulyanovsk), “Atomelectropribor” (Belgorod) enterprises and other manufacturers that makes it difficult to provide selective operation of protection. In modern DC auxiliary supply systems expensive foreign-made CB or fuse-switch disconnectors providing low-cost current selectivity are used.
“VNIIR“ JSC in cooperation with the Moscow Power Engineering Institute has developed customer-oriented DC auxiliary supply system.

- Supervision and control device – MicroSRZ-193 (ÌèêðîÑÐÇ)
- Multipurpose trickle charger – UZPA IPT-MEI.80 (ÓÇÏÀ ÈÏÒ-ÌÝÈ.80)
- Fuse-switch disconnectors – VARIUS, OPV (OEZ, Czech)
- The system supply is realized by cable entry from below.
- 10, 30 load tapping
- The system is two-side attended
- Overall dimensions (WxHxD), mm – 800x2200x600
- Ingress protection rating – up to IP54.
1) Providing selectivity due to fuse-switch disconnectors;
2) Possibility to use both new and old accumulator batteries (possibility to stepwise retrofit of substation equipment);
3) Cabinet and auxiliary current distribution cabinet compactness (ACDC-ØÐÎÒ). Possibility for wall-mounting);
4) Reduced number of feeders in the DC auxiliary supply cabinet and reduction of cable length due to ACDC application.
