ABS ZEIM Automation completed PP APCS project for concrete and grout production

At the end of July 2008 ABS ZEIM Automation completed next project for building materials industry.

One of the recent projects for this industry is development of control system for brick drying tunnel kiln and drum dryer for Shelyaukhovo brickyard, Nizhniy Novgorod region.

Engineering department professionals were involved in design of PP APCS (power plant process control system) for concrete and grout production for Novosibirsk concrete goods works.

This PP APCS is intended for on-line supervision, control and visualization of production process stages, including:

• loading and unloading of liquid raw material
• dissolution of dry raw material
• preparation of liquid integrated product
• stock and supply control of integrated product

PP APCS for concrete and grout integrated products production is based on the ABB-made Freelance 800F system. ABB is a ABS Holdings partner.

The system includes:

• middle-level APCS comprises AC800F controllers (ABB, Germany) and S800 state-of-the-art input/output modules (ABB. Sweden);
• upper-level APCS comprises DigVis HP Work Station
