ABS Energoproekt Company completed delivery of SHS PCS equipment for mechanical and electrical assets of CCPP TPS "Stroghino". SHS PCS equipment debugging for the second start-up complex is under completion, operations for interfacing with Siemens equipment are under way.

Background

In accordance with the program of Moscow Government on the development of generating facilities refurbishing of “Stroghino” district thermal station is under way.

The refurbishing is aiming to provide power supply for CCPP TPS "Stroghino" heat production and output power capacity to Mosenergo grid to backup potential electric loads of the Serebryanoborsk tunnel, “Stroghino” tube station and adjacent industrial enterprises.

Assigned task

To create a full-scale APCS with SHS on the base of microprocessor and computer engineering for mechanical and electrical assets of the main station equipment.

Automation objects

CCPP TPS "Stroghino" refurbishment procedure involves mounting of two
Combined cycle power units each including the following equipment:

  • Two Siemens SGT-800 turbogas units

  • Two vertical ÈÊ ÇÈÎÌÀÐ type Ï-108 exhaust-heat boilers

  • One Siemens SST-PAC400 steam-turbine plant


Principle electric diagram includes:

  • Type ÊÐÓÝ-220kV switchgear consisting of seven different function packaged electrogas bays

  • Two 125MVA three-winding communication transformers

  • 10.5rV generating voltage principle distribution switchgear consisting of two independent sections with common transfer bus bar system connected with the sections by bus couplers


System designation

ABS Energoproekt APCS is designed for automated (and partly automatic) control of CCPP TPS "Stroghino" processing equipment and to provide upper control systems with on-line and reliable technically feasible information.

APCS is being developed as a distributed management-information HMI system designed for continuous real-time operation.

Principle functions of the system

  • Provide production process automated control in normal, transfer and emergency mode of CCPP equipment operation.

  • Provide mechanical and electric equipment reliable operation.

  • Provide operating staff with reliable, timely and current information about production process, mechanical and electric assets and technical control state in the most perceivable form.

  • Provide operating staff with retrospective know-how information (event recording, process parameter recording) for analysis, optimization and maintenance of the equipment.

  • Reduction of contingency situations due to staff erroneous actions.

  • Decrease in psychophysical load and probability of staff erroneous actions.

  • Increase in cost-performance of mechanical and electric assets, reduction of its diagnosis, service and maintenance.

  • Performance factor calculation.


Progress of works

By now all factory test have been conducted, all necessary mechanical and electric APCS equipment, video-projection systems have been delivered to the site.

All supervision works have been carried out; second startup complex debugging is under way including APCS interfacing with Siemens ACS of GTP and STP.

ABS Energoproekt was founded in 1999 and provides general contractor functions integrating ABS-affiliated enterprises efforts in design, delivery and commissioning.
