Technical Fair in Belgrade – presentation of ABS Holdings "Transformers with decreased losses"

Energy-saving transformers , new product of the company ABS Minel Trafo, were introduced at the presentation by Mr. Novica Pejčić, development manager of ABS Minel Trafo.

These transformers, unlike existing ones have 25% lower losses i.e. 50% lower losses during the idle process. Results of such work are lower energy consumption, longer transformer lifetime, less noise and environment heating.

According to Mr Pejčić, this is the product that could, if applied in energetic plants in Serbia save energy in the value of 12 mil EUR on the annual level.

Using the new transformers we could save 20 MW of electrical energy i.e. one 20MV electric power plant every year.
